Andrew is often described by his patients and colleagues as passionate, knowledgeable and friendly. He is passionate about sport and fitness with an expertise in track and field and thus has a particular interest in orthopaedic and sports therapy whether it be preventative, rehabilitative or continuing care. He believes in the importance of a patient-therapist team approach to identify patient goals and barriers in order to create effective physiotherapy programs. Andrew’s practice includes a combination of education, hands on manual physical therapy techniques, and most importantly functional exercise. Andrew is dedicated to continuing education and advancing his skills. He has completed courses in dry needling and neuro-proprioceptive taping and is currently pursuing his Diploma of Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Andrew obtained his Master of Science degree in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University. Some key achievements during his tenure at Dalhousie that separate him from his peers include; being invited to practice at the Institute of Neurological Science in Scotland, serving as the student president and graduating at the top of his class in integrative practice. Prior to this, he completed a Master of Science in Experimental Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from McGill University.
While at McGill University, Andrew competed as a varsity track and field athlete in long jump and sprints, achieving nationals twice and representing Nova Scotia at the 2009 Canada Games. He successfully overcame multiple injuries during this time which he attributes to his physiotherapy team. This experience has given him a valuable patient perspective which he brings to his practice. He also has excellent experience treating athletes from his time working with the Mount Saint Vincent University Mens/Womens Soccer Teams.

Michael is a highly experienced Physiotherapist with a passion for guiding people towards success. He graduated from York University with a Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science and a Certificate in Athletic Therapy. In 1997, he became certified as an Athletic Therapist, CATA(C), in Canada. He graduated from McMaster University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy. Later that year he became certified as an Athletic Trainer, ATC, in the United States. After entering private physiotherapy practice, Michael completed a post-graduate Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy (Dip. Manip. PT), from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, in 2002.
Upon completion of his diploma he became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists (FCAMPT) accredited by the International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists (IFOMPT). In 2007, Michael completed his certificate in anatomical acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (CAFCI). In 2016, Michael pursued his designation as a Registered Kinesiologist, (R.KIN), in Ontario. In 2018, Michael completed his Doctorate of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Andrews University in Michigan, USA.
