Michael is a highly experienced Physiotherapist with a passion for guiding people towards success. He graduated from York University with a Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science and a Certificate in Athletic Therapy. In 1997, he became certified as an Athletic Therapist, CATA(C), in Canada. He graduated from McMaster University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physiotherapy. Later that year he became certified as an Athletic Trainer, ATC, in the United States. After entering private physiotherapy practice, Michael completed a post-graduate Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy (Dip. Manip. PT), from the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, in 2002.

Upon completion of his diploma he became a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists (FCAMPT) accredited by the International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists (IFOMPT). In 2007, Michael completed his certificate in anatomical acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (CAFCI). In 2016, Michael pursued his designation as a Registered Kinesiologist, (R.KIN), in Ontario. In 2018, Michael completed his Doctorate of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Andrews University in Michigan, USA.

Michael’s treatment expertise is in the field of hands-on physiotherapy focusing on neck, shoulder and back pain. His clinical practice is now limited and he is focusing most of his time on educating and mentoring Physiotherapists, Athletic Therapists and Kinesiology students. He is an Examiner and Chief Instructor within the post-graduate Diploma Program of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Michael is an invited speaker with the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association and serves as an Assistant Professor and Faculty member with the School of Kinesiology and Health Science Program at York University in Toronto.

When not treating, teaching or studying, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife Laura and three children whether on the soccer field, in a basketball court or simply enjoying the outdoors.

James is a true coach at heart whether coaching you through your rehabilitation or on the ice with young hockey players. He completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology and Health Science and a Certificate in Athletic Therapy at York University in 1999. James continued his professional training completing a Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto, graduating in 2002 and becoming registered as a Physiotherapist. He also became certified as an Athletic Therapist, CATA(C), in Canada. James continued to advance his knowledge and skills completing a certificate in anatomical acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (CAFCI) and post-graduate courses in advanced manual and manipulative physiotherapy from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

James has the ability to narrow in on the root cause of his client’s injury and create a client-focused treatment plan based on the latest physiotherapy research. He is compassionate and caring which quickly becomes very evident when interacting with clients.

James has extensive experience treating muscle and joint related injuries in people of all ages. He has also treated many athletes of all levels, from the beginner to the professional, spanning the National Hockey League (NHL), Canadian Football League (CFL) and Major Lacrosse League (MLL). He has served as a Host Medical Staff Volunteer for the Ontario Summer Games, Ontario Winter Games, World Transplant Games, Ontario Paralympic Games, World Paralympic Track and Field Championships, and the Canadian Junior National Figure Skating Championships.

James spends his time outside of his physiotherapy practice as a passionate Head Coach for both of his children’s competitive hockey teams. His team was awarded the Mayor of Mississauga’s Most Sportsmanlike Team 3 years in a row. James also was awarded the GTHL Coach of the Year for 2020! When not living at the rink or the clinic – James enjoys spending time with his wife, two kids and dog, preferably at the cottage!

Krzys is a Registered Massage Therapist with extensive experience in many aspects of rehabilitation. Krzys earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Physical Education in Poland. He subsequently migrated to Canada and pursued his massage therapy education and became a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. After practicing to several years, Krzys continued his studies completing a Certification in Reflexology. He continues to enhance his skills specializing in Soft Tissue Release, Deep Tissue Massage and Lymphatic Drainage techniques, specifically designed to enhance the removal of swelling from the arms and legs.

Krzys has been involved in the therapy and rehabilitation field since 1986 when he worked with the top men’s and women’s provincial soccer teams in Poland. He maintains an active professional career having volunteered his time at various sporting events such as the Field Lacrosse World Championships and the Terry Fox Run held annually in Brampton.

Outside of his professional life, you will likely find Krzys enjoying the sun somewhere on the beach in cottage country with his wife Anna and two kids.

Chris’ personable candor provides a memorable and positive therapeutic experience for his clients. He has several years of experience working as a Registered Kinesiologist and is currently registered as a Physiotherapist. Chris graduated from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom with a Master of Science degree in Physiotherapy. Prior to that, Chris graduated from York University in 2017 with a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences.

Chris strongly believes in the importance of advancing his clinical skills and is continuing his professional development by working toward obtaining his Diploma of Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Program through the National Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. He is also working toward his accreditation in medical acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (CAFCI).

Chris’s past experience has exposed him to a wide variety of injuries, conditions, populations (athlete and non-athlete), and rehabilitative settings. He believes in a complete, client-centered approach to physiotherapy that includes manual therapy, tailored therapeutic exercise programs, goal setting, education and various other intervention strategies to achieve the best outcome and experience for his clients.

Shelley is a highly experienced Physiotherapist whose compassion and dedication helps you successfully deal with your physical pain problem. Shelley graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 2001.

Prior to this, Shelley completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology at McMaster University. While at McMaster, she became a Certified Personal Trainer with the Canadian Personal Trainers Network (CPTN). In 2008 Shelley completed her Certificate in Anatomical Acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (CAFCI).

Shelley’s tenacity has lead her back to studying completing her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and subsequently became a CAMPT Certified Physiotherapist with the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy.

For several years Shelley provided physiotherapy first responder care for the Brampton Beavers Senior Men’s Rugby teams. As well, she has instructed Sports First Aid courses for Red Cross and the Sport Alliance of Ontario. Shelley has also served as a health care provider for the Paralympics, Ontario Summer Games, Skate Canada, Big Brothers Big Sisters Ball Hockey fundraisers, Brampton’s Run 4 Hope, Ultimate Frisbee, Lacrosse tournaments and Gymnastics Club Competitions, as well as provided educational seminars for 5K, 10K, and ½ marathon clinics for the Brampton Running Room.

When not helping clients in the clinic, Shelley and her husband enjoy the outdoors hiking at Belfountain, Forks of the Credit and other conservation areas with their yellow lab, Jewels. Cooking and entertaining with family and friends at home or at Wasaga Beach is also a favourite past time.

Haris thrives in helping you get back to doing the things that you love to do! His experience working with clients ranging from very young to very old within realm of musculoskeletal to neurological conditions fosters an ability to create an individualized plan of care, incorporating your goals to optimize your recovery. . Haris has a passion for physical activity and sport which led him to pursue a career in Physiotherapy. He earned his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Western University. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor of Science with Specialized Honours in Kinesiology and Health Science from York University. Haris believes in the importance of being a lifelong learner and continues to pursue advanced physiotherapy training.

Asya is a Registered Physiotherapist with a true passion for helping people. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto where she completed the Masters of Science in Physical Therapy Degree. Prior to this, she obtained the Honours Bachelor of Science Degree with Biology and Psychology majors.

Asya is dedicated to life-long learning and continuing education and has completed numerous post-professional courses, including dizziness and vestibular rehabilitation, myofascial release, K-taping, sports taping, Lynn Watson’s shoulder course, vestibular therapy, as well as Level 1 – 5 manual therapy courses. Asya is working towards completing her post-professional Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy to become a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists.

She is also a certified pelvic floor therapist, and is able to assess and treat issues such as incontinence, prolapse, as well as help with improving the overall function of the pelvic floor.

Asya’s expertise is in treating numerous musculoskeletal conditions in a wide variety of clients, regardless of age and level of athletic ability. Her comprehensive approach to care incorporates a hands-on approach, an individualized muscle-retraining program, and education to empower her clients. She has much success rehabilitating clients and empowering them to be active participants in their own recovery.

In her free time Asya enjoys leading an active lifestyle that involves pilates and dancing. She also enjoys listening to music, reading, and watching soccer.
